Crankset and handcranks.
The Crankset has three chainrings with 24, 34 and 42 teeth respectively.
The handcranks attach to the 170mm crankarms using a standard 9/16" LH and RH thread
The tree chainrings in combination with the cassette offer 21 widely spaced gears. From 18.6 to 100.3 gear inches.
Brakes
The intrepid handcycle comes equiped with a front disc brake and a secondary calliper brake.
The primary disc brake is a powerful mechanical braking system. It surpasses other braking systems in wet or adverse conditions.
The secondary dual pivot calliper rim brake is a light weight backup brake and it also serves as a parking brake.
Front hub and cassette
The front hub on the handcycle comes equiped with a disc brake rotor and a seven speed cassette with sprockets ranging from 11 ro 34 teeth.

The cassette in combination with the crankset offers 21 widely spaced gears ranging from 18.6 to 100.3 gear inches. The cassette has sprockets with ranging from 11-30 teeth.
Handcycle shifters
Dual grip shifters and a single brake lever are mounted on the down tube in front of the rider. The grip shifters include a three speed shifter for the crankset and a seven speed shifter for the handcycle cassette.
